Chemistry grad students reunion

The Physical Sciences Division and the Department of Chemistry are hosting a chemistry reunion on Monday, August 27. Every Chicago alumnus with an S.M. or a Ph.D. in chemistry is invited to attend the evening reception and awards ceremony, which is timed to coincide with the American Chemical Society meetings at McCormick Place that week.

The evening will include tours of the chemistry laboratories, a cocktail reception, and the presentation of alumni awards. One award will recognize outstanding contributions to the field; another, volunteer work on behalf of the University; a third, public service; and a fourth will acknowledge outstanding career achievements by an individual age 40 or younger.
