In Their Own Words

People are clamoring for their individuality and freedom. Rules are seen as those things that "are made to be broken." We want to live in "our own space." These and other concepts are applied to daily life on a regular basis and it is natural that with such regularity of use, they would creep into the inner man. This inner man is now seeing things only from its perspective. Thus we have whole countries that consider their way to be the only way. Absolutes are now meted out on a regional basis. It may just be time to look again for the absolutes in life for all mankind. This is not just a matter of religion but it is a matter of life itself. In order to endure on this earth and to prosper, and, yes, to prepare ourselves for heaven, we need to try some new methods and engage in a renewed kind of thinking. This will require a return to God, but not the God who just punishes because we don't do it His way, but the God who rewards by showing us The way. It is not a matter of our being shut out by Him, but of our shutting Him out. We are the responsible ones. It is not that He has left us behind, but that we Didn't Go! It is time for us to look from His vantage point; that is, to take a View From The Top.
