This collection gathers the best of the many poems published in chapbooks and periodicals by Robert Flanagan from 1969-2009. New York poet Colette Inez says, "These intelligent, sharply focused poems that recall a gritty past of rented apartments, cracked tar, the fight game, and turf wars in working class urban America.
