1990's

College alumni—Grace Chan, AB’90, AM’90, writes: This
summer was a relatively slow time for class news. I hope that means
all of you were having too much fun and staying too productive to
have time to write. But do keep the news coming! Your classmates
would love to know how you’re doing. Here’s what some of you have
done during the spring and summer months:
In May, Stuart M. Feldman, AB’90, graduated from the Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received the student service
award. He started a one-year internship at Botsford Hospital outside
of Detroit this summer and will return to Chicago to begin his residency
in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital in 1999. He looks
forward to coming back to Chicago and meeting old classmates who
have also returned to their roots. “It’s been too long since my
last Harold’s fix,” he says. Igal Litovsky, AB’90, AM’90,
graduated from Harvard Business School in June and is working with
the Boston Consulting Group in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Steven
Kim, AB’90, PhD’98, finished his Ph.D. in pathology in August.
His dissertation was on the transcriptional regulation of smooth-muscle
cell differentiation. Since then, he has returned to his senior
year at the U of C’s Pritzker Medical School and is in the midst
of applying to residency programs in internal medicine. He lives
in Deerfield. David R. Rosener, AB’90, was the Libertarian
nominee for Missouri’s House of Representatives, but withdrew from
the race in August for personal reasons.

so I lied. I told you that I wouldn’t give out the cool U of C prize
for figuring out who the “mystery classmate” was because I figured
out his identity on my own. But two of you stepped up and actually
