1980-1990's   1980s Lisa Heller, AB'86, a former research technician in the department of surgery at the U of C Hospitals, died suddenly on June 3. She was 33. Heller received a master's degree in biochemistry from Cornell University in May. Survivors include her parents, Dvora Heller and David H. Heller, SM'42, PhD'52, and grandparents Meyer Halushka, SB'23, SM'33, and Rose Shumacher Halushka, X'26. Jerrill K. Dent, AB'87, a financial futures broker for Morgan Stanley in Chicago, died December 18, 1996, of a rare bone cancer. He was 31.
