image: Campus NewsAt OI, everything new is old again
The Oriental Institute's Elizabeth Morse Genius Reading Room was dedicated in December. Funded by the Elizabeth Morse and Elizabeth Morse Genius Charitable Trusts and gifts from OI friends and alumni, the restoration of the room to its 1931 grandeur included replacing the cork floor, replicating the original light fixtures (removed in the 1950s), and installing task wiring and Internet hookups at the reading room tables.
