International architects picked for new athletics center, dorms : Architect Cesar Pelli—perhaps best known for designing the world’s tallest building, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—has been chosen to design the University’s new Gerald Ratner Athletics Center.

Business school plans executive M.B.A. program in Singapore: Five years after setting up an international executive M.B.A. program in Barcelona, Spain, the Graduate School of Business has announced plans to establish another overseas outpost, this time in Singapore.

  New GSB site, third new dorm headed for vote:The last major piece of the master plan puzzle could fall into place in April, when the University’s Board of Trustees will vote on a proposed site, recommended by the campus master plan steering committee, for the new Graduate School of Business facility.

  Jimmy of Jimmy’s dies at age 86: James (“Jimmy”) Wilson, owner of Jimmy’s Woodlawn Tap on 55th Street, died of heart failure February 22 at age 86.
