New trustee
David Booth, MBA'71, was elected to the University's board this June.

CEO and co-founder-with Rex Sinquefield, MBA'72-of Dimensional Fund Advisors, an investment firm that couples academic research with investing, Booth has long maintained close relations with the Graduate School of Business. He is the recipient of the GSB's Distinguished Alumni Entrepreneurial Award, a former member of its Philanthropy Committee, and he has served on the GSB Council since 1999. Since September 2001 Booth has been a non-Trustee member of the University board's Investment Committee.

He also serves on the boards of the American Academy in Rome and the University of California, Los Angeles, Foundation.
