Happy Birthday, Mr. President
To celebrate President Randel’s 65th birthday, in December trustees, alumni, and friends presented the University with $1.5 million to help restore the E. M. Skinner organ and Laura Spelman Rockefeller Carillon. Preserving the historic instruments has been a priority for Randel, a musicologist. About $2.75 million is needed for the preservation.
