aboard: A new trustee
The University’s
Board of Trustees elected Dennis Keller, MBA’68, as its newest member
this fall. Keller began his career at Motorola and was vice president
of finance at Bell & Howell before cofounding the Keller Graduate
School of Management in 1973. Fourteen years later, the school acquired
the assets of DeVry, Inc., the holding company for the DeVry Institutes
of Technology. A director of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce
and the Great Books Foundation, Keller is also vice chair and trustee
of the Chicago Zoological Society and a trustee of Rush–Presbyterian–St.
Luke’s Medical Center and the George M. Pullman Educational Foundation.
Recipient of the GSB’s 1997 distinguished entrepreneurial alumnus
award, he has chaired the Council on the Graduate School of Business
since 1994.
