Hosted by the School of Social Service Administration, the Social Work Student Nexus homepage offers a high-tech means of collaboration. Students can read each other’s research in on-line journals and communicate with each other through chat rooms, message boards, and Internet mailing lists. A link to the Social Work Cafe lets them contact working professionals from around the world. And the link to the Complete Social Worker helps them find jobs, get fund-raising tips, and locate topical legislation.

For prospective students, the site offers links to national and international bachelor’s and master’s programs, plus some faculty and student contacts.

French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish versions of the site are also available. The site is part of a Web ring that includes 56 social-work sites.
