The student body, dissected
It’s no secret that graduate students outnumber College kids two to one on the University of Chicago campus. The largest block of graduate students is in the social-sciences division, with the Graduate School of Business not far behind. Among graduate students, the split is nearly 50-50 for students pursuing master’s and doctorate degrees. Here’s a look at how the distribution of students changed between 1998 and 2002.
