Taking care of business
Among the fans, “we’ll be
the most excited. Nobody’s coming to see the Bulls,”
one Graduate School of Business first-year said to another as they
arrived at the United Center February 21. There was cause for excitement—at
least in the student-populated nosebleed section—when the
GSB team, clad in black jerseys, faced off against peers from Northwestern’s
Kellogg School of Management in a 15-minute match. The Maroons beat
the competition 14-10, shook hands with the losers, and walked off
the court—making way for the real game. The Bulls, however,
faced a bear market, falling to the Memphis Grizzlies 105-98.—M.L.
